Windsor: President of techUK is ‘passionate about championing diversity’

An experienced business leader, Jacqueline de Rojas is passionate about the UK, the technology industry and championing diversity & inclusion. She believes the UK can take its place as a digital nation of significance fuelled by the business builders of this country and supported by access to technology & talent.

This ambition is echoed strongly through her board role as president of techUK. Her presidency focuses on the UK leveraging its digital opportunity and skills, and embracing diversity to help the UK’s technology industry to increase the talent pool and unlock the geographies and demographics which are largely excluded in terms of investment and focus.

de Rojas has been employed throughout her career by global blue-chip software companies to accelerate growth by unlocking the potential of diverse teams who can operate under pressure and extend their reach through smart partnering and collaboration.

She holds a number of external roles including: her seat as non-executive director at tech aggregator Rightmove plc, the UK’s number one property website; board advisor at Digital Leaders; sits on the advisory board of Accelerate-Her, which supports female entrepreneurship and she lends her support to Everywoman and the technology group of the 30% Club.

de Rojas is a leading figure in the UK’s technology industry. Named as Europe’s 50 most inspiring female influencers, in 2016 she was recognised in the top two @ComputerWeekly Uktech50 most influential people in UK IT, and entered the  @ComputerWeekly Hall of Fame as the Most Influential Woman in IT. She was listed in Debretts 2016 people of Influence – Digital & Social.

She will be one of our leading panellists at the Women in Business launch at The Oakley Court Hotel, Windsor, on March 31.
